The hydrocyclone sand remover operates based on the principle of centrifugal separation. Because the inlet pipe is eccentrically mounted on the cylinder body, when water flows through the inlet pipe of the hydrocyclone sand remover, it first forms a downward-slanted peripheral fluid along the tangential direction of the cylinder. The water flow rotates downward, and upon reaching a specific section of the conical body, it reverses direction and spirals upward along the central axis of the cylinder. Finally, the water is discharged through the outlet pipe.
